The MiniCD “the decline portrait” was written between 1999 and 2001 and showed the new style of SONIC REIGN hailing a modern kind of Black Metal art. The first song written for this CD, called “End of Rebellion”, lead to the stylistic change and was the first step on the path SONIC REIGN follows till today.
“the decline potrait” was recorded in the studio of some friends of the band under semi-professionall conditions nontheless the band was very proud of the album and the important step for which it stands.
The MiniCD was released by Supreme Chaos Records in 2004 with an early pre-recording version of the track “raw dark pure” as bonus track.
